Can I get business visa to China while in Singapore. US citizen. On way to Singapore now need visa by March 1?

You could apply for your China visa at the China Embassy in Singapore and ask for an express processing by paying a bit of Express Fee. You get it on the same day if you lodge it in the morning. Ask the taxi driver, they would know where is the Embassy address for China visa. You need to bring a couple of photos, your intro letter as well fill in an application form at the office, for the application of Business "F" visa. If they cannot issue you a Business visa for the trip, a Tourist Visa "L" is easier to obtain on the same day id you pay the Express Fee.
