    You want a lot of info. ~ Here is: A direcTV Tivo ONLY saves their programs. Without a TiVo subscription you won't be able to use the auto save of programs, regardless of when they come on. Transferring shows from the DVR to the computer can be done, but is an undertaking (I have done it).
