i think that dish is better similar to comcast, i with direct tv now, and should of never left comcast, comcast 2 thumbs up, i know the price is higher, but well worth it, with comcast on-demand you don't need an internet connection, with direct tv and dish u do, so i'd stay with comcast, but out of direct or dish, i'd go with the dish, i have direct tv now, 2 thumbs down, dish has better specials than direct will ever. . good luck. .
