How can i share a printer with 2 computers?

i have a computer in my room but the printer is in an other room so how can i share the printer in order for me to be able to print from both? Please i need help this has been ...show more

It depends on the printer. If it is "network ready", you need to set up a LAN and share the computer on the network. If it is NOT network ready, you can share THROUGH the other computer on a LAN, BUT the computer connected to the printer MUST be on to act as the print server. The other option is, if the printer is within range, use a cable to connect it to each computer when it needs to be used by THAT computer. I recommend this as a last resort.
