What's downward leveling?

Whats the difference in a leveling kit and the adjusting your torsion bars?? I have a 2003 ford f150 ltx......?

  • Im looking for something cheap and that will give me a good lift and i have no idea what to do??

  • Answer:

A leveling kit is a simple block added on the top of the front coils that provides about 2 inches of lift in the front. I don't see how adjustment of the torsion bars would not **** up your suspension i would stay with a kit.

A leveling kit comes with torsion bars and blocks that go in the back. After market torsion keys have a different angle that allow you to jack up the front end of your Ford to level it out with the back if you just have the after market keys the front will sit higher hence why it comes with rear blocks to make your truck sit level. a leveling kit includes torsion keys and blocks. The torsion keys alone will just raise the front.
