Any accredited non for profit community college or 4 year college/university is going to require a high school diploma or a GED to apply. So, no you can not attend college while working on your GED. Many community colleges do offer GED classes. I have never heard of a college paying you to attend. WHY would they? What do they get out of paying you to attend classes. Where have you heard of this? You have heard so much about it, next time ask the person their source for the information
