How can i get a good job when I graduate? advice please?

  An internship is the easiest way to get good opportunities. If that's not an option, try getting a lower-level accounting job over the summer. I know you're in a master's program, but don't be "too good" to get an "accounting clerk" or "bookkeeper" position. In these jobs, you'll get a good idea of how things REALLY work. And you'll earn some cash too. Finally, you can "walk the walk." (TRUST ME - employers can tell when you're faking it!) I paid for my masters degree by doing accounts receivable and accounts payable work. Now I'm a CPA/audit manager. My best insight into how my clients' accounting systems really work comes from "grunt work" I did 20 years ago. And if someone tells me, "but that won't work," I have the background to tell them exactly how it can be done and why it will work. Good luck.
