I dont knowwhat to do for my career does anyone know if medical transcriptionist is better than medical coding?

I recently heard from a friend (who happens to be a medical transcriptionist) that her job is being phased out. Apparently new technological advances and some transcription work is going over seas (as crazy as that sounds.) Medical coding is still a strong career. I did it for years and if you're good at it, you can make a decent income. Good luck with your decision.
