Can I directly upgrade my PSP firmware to 5.00M33?

Regarding psp firmwares.Do I need to upgrade my firmware one by one?

I mean do i need to upgrade my 3.80 m33-5 firmware to the next firmware to the next and so on? or I can just upgrade my firmware to 5.50 GENB2? and can you give me advices to which ...show more

okay this is how you should do it. to be safe follow this 3.80 M33 - 4.01 M33 - 5.00 M33 - 5.50 GEN D now from there use the GEN D2 then D3 quick updater. with 5.50 GEN D3 you can now play all the newest games including tekken 6. I heard that people were having problems when updating straight to 5.50 GEN (A/B/D) from any CFW lower than 5.00M33 so make sure you follow the steps.
