I want to know how to type in Japanese for my display name in msn messenger?

I have a windows vista laptop and i want to type "Ocean" as my display name in Japanese. I already went to a trans later to see how it looks like but i need to know how to ...show more

If you want to be able to type in Japanese on your computer... Go to control panel Clock, Language and Region Regional and Language options Keyboards and Languages (tab) Change Keyboards Add Check Japanese Apply You should now have a lovely language bar floating on your desktop. If you hit EN, you can change your keyboard to Japanese. If you hit the "A," in the Japanese IME, you can change to hiragana or katakana, and type in Japanese. It'll automatically convert romaji into kana, when you have it set to kana. If you hit the space bar, it will give you options for kanji, or alternative ways of writing things (punctuation, etc.) Have fun!
