Confussing numbers with letters is a learning difficulty?

My 5 years old confuses letters with number and vice-versa, I mean she says that 1,2,3... are letters or she writes letters and say they are numbers, she can identify some numbers but ...show more

She's just learning the difference. Just remind her that numbers are for counting, letters are for reading and making words. She'll catch on! (The hardest one is the number 0, letter o. Just tell her when it's a number it's called zero, when it's a letter it's called o.)
