Where could I find a prom dress in Paris, France?

  If you're looking for .. literally a "prom dress"... chances are, you may not be able to find one in Paris. French kids don't do proms... they don't have such a thing to attend. However, I'm sure there are stores that carry formal dresses for teens that can be worn to a prom. Not sure why you'd like to buy one in Paris instead of getting one in the states. Prices/selection would be much better in the states. Almost everything is more expensive in Paris.. not to mention the USD has been weak against the euros. The places to try would be the major department stores such as le Bon Marche, Printemps, Lafayette.. pricing would be better at the BHV w/ some compromise on quality/style. I still think it's a better idea to buy such item in the states.. but good luck!
