Why cannot I print a whole page?

My Epson R300 print the whole band of ink. If I print the photo the whole page will be painted???

  • I did run the head cleaning many time. run nozzle test and the whole band of color print on the paper. look like the print head is all spray ink out at same time.

  • Answer:

It doesn't it has a very fine print head system. It turns the nozzles off and on repeatedly during normal printing to give, what is a phenomenal photo. The bands of ink are the printer testing each one of those nozzles. A cleaning does that. however you will not see bands in the resulting print. Photo printing does use a great deal of ink, and yes the whole page may be covered depending upon the size of photo you are printing, however it will be a lovely crisp photo.
