How can i get cable in my own room?

you need a cable splitter. you would have to go down in your basement and find where the cable comes in and hook the splitter up. once that is done you have to run cable from that hook-up to your room. most likely would have to drill a hole into the floor. once it is into your room then you can hook it up to a t.v.

YOu need to contact your cable company & get pricing on a second box, which is usually offered at a discounted amount. If you try to connect to the other box, you're at the mercy of what you're parents are watching. My cable company adds a fee of $5.99 for additional boxes. Not a bad price. Ask your parents for the box & tell them you'll pay for it.
