Why would you want to become an Event Planner?

I think I want to become a Wedding/Event Party Planner, & I don't know where to begin..?

    ...I really don't have an answer to your question, but you gave me a little chuckle. Thought you'd like to know that you have to dissect a lot more than a frog when you become a physical therapist...besides frogs, cats and fetal pigs in your years as an undergraduate...try a human being once in the physical therapy program! Good luck with your career as an event planner, however...sounds like fun!

I know that some schools definitely offer degrees in Wedding/event planning, but I only know of one specifically. George Mason University in Virginia offers a Bachelor's degree with Wedding and Event Planning as a concentration. I don't know what states you are looking at, but I am sure you could find another school that offers what you're looking for. I don't know much about the profession itself but I have heard that they do make a lot of money, though it can be a very busy and stressful job. There are a lot of people who thrive and have fun in those situations though. Hope that helps.
