How much should I budget for a trip to London?

Is $150-$200 USD/day enough for a trip to London on a budget?

    Yes that for one person it is definitely enough money per day. As $100 is around £98 in the UK and that is definitely enough to get around especially if you have a London pass already. Eating out can cost from £4 (if you eat at somewhere like McDonalds or get a Chinese) to £10-20 if you eat in restaurants like Nando's or TGI Fridays. I would invest in a London Pass if I was you as it saves worrying about travelling as getting the tube, buses etc would be included as you would get an unlimited travel card and also saves you money you would have spent on attractions as free entry to attractions is part of your pass and discounts for shopping and it only costs £96 for 3 days (including travel) or £145 for 6 days which is a really good deal.

You should just about get by on $150 per day including hostel accommodation. Eating out is quite expensive. The London Pass is good value if you are going to visit a lot of conventional toursit sites that make an admission charge. Remember most of the museums and art galleries are free anyway. For public transport the Visitor Oyster Card is another alternative www.tfl.gov.uk

We don't use USD in London so no one in London or the whole of the UK are going to know. YOU are the visitor, you do the conversions. The London underground website is www.tfl.gov.uk it has prices on there. No idea about Boston.
