There are some good answers here before mine. However no ones has mentioned FOOD. The way we eat, what we eat, and how we cook it all effect conservation of resources. Example: If I cook rice or carrots over a medium to low gas fire, I am saving fuel and getting more nutrients out of the food. I teach cooking classes, and it always surprises me that people do not even grasp the basics of cooking as related to conservation. Eating whole foods instead of commercially prepared foods is another way to save money and help conservation.

Hey. Energy Conservation is the efficient use of energy by decreasing energy use or decreasing consumption of energy services. Today's youth is affecting Energy Conservation in a negative way. There will be restrictions on use of energy for future generations like laws against excessive use of lights because of a huge waste of energy. This won't happen for a while though. P.S. I dont like science either. Hope I helped

Today's youth use less energy than the youth of yesteryear, that's why obesity is more prevalent. Back in the day, there were no video games, there were 5 tv channels and you were happy that mom let you out of the dungeon, err basement, to get some fresh air for 15 minutes a day. When you got into that sunlight you hit the ground running, you feel me, and you tried like Hell to make it over that damn fence, regardless of how many times you got cut on the barbed wire or she sicked the dogs on you. Freedom only seemed like it was 30 feet away. Finally, once you turned 54, there was absolutely no novelty in keeping you chained up in the basement, feeding you table scraps and calling you Jou Jou. I guess that's just the way it goes. Thanks for asking.
