How do I sing from the diaphragm?
-
Okay so I usually sing with my head voice and I want to know how to sing with my diaphragm. And which is better to sing with or which one should I mostly sing with?
-
Answer:
Make sure your diaphragm (stomach) inflates when you breathe, and that your shoulders do not move. When you sing, you should be pushing out on your stomach, and imagine that the air is lightly flowing up. Also imagine that the words are falling out of you.

Other answers
Never sing with your 'head voice'. If you're singing and your throat hurts, you're singing wrong. You have to learn to breathe properly, your stomach should move when you're breathing.
