In NY State there is someting call BOCES (Board of Cooperative Educational Services). Some States call it Technical High School. There is a night Division for Adults, like yourself. Seek out a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) program at one of these facilities. Then go to a 2-year Nursing program in a Community College.... much cheaper that a BS/MS program. Get some experience. Maybe your nursing employer will have a tuition assistance program that will cover the cost of the BSN/MSN program.
