First answer pretty much lays it all out for you but i just wanted to add one thing...... You have to have one year of critical care bedside nursing under your belt before you can even apply to CRNA school. I work in an ICU where the turnover is very high bc of this reason, people just work there for that years of critical care experience than go off to CRNA school

To become a nurse anesthetist, you need to finish a four-year degree in nursing followed by course work and experiences in an acute care setting. You really need a high GPA, around 4.0, to get into a nursing school. Nursing school is pretty stressful, especilly the first 1-2 years. Here are some nursin programs in San Francisco: - City College of San Francisco, Vocational Nursing Department - San Francisco State University, School of Nursing - University of California - San Francisco, School of Nursing - University of San Francisco, School of Nursing My cousin is a nurse. It's awesome! You know meaningful things are always not easy to get. Get yourself be prepared. Good luck!
