When I applied you had to have a GPA of 3.82 to get in. The first time I applied I only had a 3.6 so I had to retake biology....I got in the next semester. It took me 4 1/2 years to get my BSN. Good luck

COMPETITIVE????? WHY????? they need RNs everywhere in the USA and there will shortly be another half a million open job spots as us baby boomers RETIRE. If you are some place where there is a waiting list to get into a Nursing Program.....MOVE! They are so desperate for RNs these days they will let you come to the ER or ICU straight out of school....and that is DANGEROUS and a good way to lose your license, but they do it all the time. I can't believe any school has a waiting list or is picky about nursing students with the shortage being what it is today!
