Which nursing course is better?

(CNA) certified nursing assistant or physical therapy aide, which course is better to take?

I just want some advise and opinions cause I want to start taking one of these courses but I'm not sure,and I really dont want to waste time and money.Just want to know which one ...show more

I'd say CNA because if you want to get a better opportunity into a nursing program like LVN/LPN or RN, they do take into consideration if you've had CNA experience. I took a Physical Therapy Aide course, but there are very few PT schools here in California and they are all very though and competitive to get into. Also, there are far more Nursing schools LVN or RN to get into. I had decided to apply to PTA school, but it was quite hard to get in and they only accepted apps once a year =( ..... I ended up being accepted into LVN program and I'm loving it!!! Many more chances to choose what specialty you want to get into as well!! Good luck and hope this helps! Angie
