How did you know what job you wanted to do?

  The best job is one you love doing and where the pay is adequate. Where you consider it more a paid hobby than a job. Myself I do my hobby and get paid for it. I design electronic gear for professional musicians. Most of the top acts in the world use my stuff. One of my new designs got a best of show award at the NAMM show in Anaheim in January. Between by job and my investments I make 6 figures. My daughter want to play with trains when she graduates with her PhD in transportation this year.. She interviewed today for a management position at a major railroad. She is quite happy they will even pay her too. In your case, it sounds like you managed to get into high school without developing a passion for anything. Because if you had the answer would be obvious to you. If you cannot figure out anything by the time you graduate, take business management or accounting. At least you will make an OK living.
