What is a good over the counter for tension headaches?

When you have tension head aches its always better for you to get a basic medicine....ilke paractamol or basic pain killer....but i would suggest for you to have a different approach as halopthy can make you addicted to its drug after a period of time ...there fore ...go for a good hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate or tea...switch off all ur lights ...open your windows for good breeze ...put on light music and close your eyes....it really works....but if you need to get out of it instantly you can use medicine ...no harm in it....you can try some meditation ...to avoid tention head aches in the long run...

Advil usually works for me. I have a friend who says her doctor told her 2 advil AND 2 tylenol at the same time! That works pretty well, but I wouldn't do it very often...
