  I assume you are in the UK. Learning disabilities is an intellectual disability that does not require a nurse. There are hundreds of different occupations that help people with learning disabilities. Some you don't need any education at all and some you need many many years. I suggest you look into different types of jobs and than ask the question when you have a better idea of what kind of work you want to do - not just who you want to do it with.
