dreams usually coincide with day to day life. I found that I lost control of a relationship, lost my job and lost a relative and had a similar dream every night. my doctor told me it is literally you feel you have no power or control over anything and this comes out in your dream.... has anything altered in your life recently or has something drastic happend?
