Just set your Facebook where only friends can see it and say you don't have one.

is it legal to not have facebook??? can u say u dont have it? u use MSN instead??

Not A

Just delete everything, get rid of friends or block them from your newsfeed that aren't very good. They can ask you for your password and go on some other time.

Recently there has been much controversy over this issue so what most people do is either say they don't have facebook or that they don't want them to look at it. Although this is slightly suspicious they can't take action and would only slightly reduce your employment chance. All in all it is something they may ask so be prepared and remember it's your choice

preposterous for them to even think it.

they can "ask" you to do whatever, there's no real "privacy" when getting hired, anything you put on the internet is out there, if it's public, they will find it anyway, i never seen one ask before, but as far as i know, legally he's in the clear.
