Windows live messenger -why does it not go to install?

Ermmm, do you download the file which says something like "Installer.exe", because if you do, i don't think there would be a problem. One of the problems may be windows installer, if it's not installing properly, because the program needs the latest one out there, if it's a Vista, then that shouldn't be a problem. Go to this website, http://get.live.com/messenger/config If it's the same, don't left click (normal click) the install button, instead, right click on it and then click, "Save Link As" or "Save Target As" (depending on whether you use Internet Explorer or Mozilla Friefox, Opera etc. That should work for you, if not, then you might want to try soft 32: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/Chat/Instant-Messaging/MSN-Messenger-8.shtml Dont take this as a first decision though, try using he official one.
