How can I send a large video file to someone over the internet?

    Don't send a large video, have them compress it with Windows Media Encoder to a size that will allow you to use Yahoo Messenger or AIM to do a file transfer really quick. Most email servers will not allow you to send over so many megabytes, so it's best if they can ftp it to a web server and give you a way to access the ftp account to download it. They would need a web host to ftp the file to and you would need an ftp program to download it. You can find all kinds of free ftp programs on the internet, but one of my personal favorites is FileZilla. See the link below to download Filezilla. Article in today's Wall St. journal (Personal Journal) section about this today. Pando Networks. The Pando software program allows users to send large e-mail attachments without running afoul of normal size limitations. Others have gone to youtube.com or google video--or shutterfly or Kodak easyshare gallery. But this Pando sounds pretty cool. I'm gonna try it.
