Will acne treatment peel my skin?

  Skin Needling, also known as Per Cutaneous Collagen Induction, is a pretty good option for pitted scars. It works by stimulating the skin's natural healing systems which will produce collagen and plump up the skin by stimulating fibroblasts. It can be done at home with a dermaroller device or in a professional office with a small handheld machine, similar to a tattoo machine. I offer this in my studio and have seen nice results for pitted acne scars, as well as stretch marks and wrinkles. There is 2-3 days where the skin is red, otherwise, there is no real down time after the procedure. It will take 3-5 sessions for best results and the scars may not completely disappear, but most people have some improvement. When looking for someone to do the work, ask for training and experience.
