How Much Does Home-Schooling Cost????

You can actually homeschool for free or for very little money. I home school my two sons for less than 200 dollars a year.Contact me by email if you want more info.

If we are counting just books, I don't spend $1,000 a year, that is not to say that it couldn't cost that much. If I did, it would still be far less than the cost of one child in a classroom. (Private schools in my area charge about $3,500 a year for tuition, government schools run taxpayers about $5,000 a year per child. This does not include the price of activity fees, classroom supplies, books, and clothing.) If we include the cost of swim lessons, Cub Scout dues and uniforms, bowling fees (my youngest child loves to bowl) and equipment, piano lessons, etc, you could get close to and possibly over that $1,000. It doesn't, but, when my older children were at a high school level, we got there. Keep in mind that the price that school teachers are giving you is probably based on their cost of distance learning (ie K-12).

it all depends on what type of books you buy i just graduated from homeschooling and my parents homeschooled me and my little brother! and sometimes they went to the bookstore and found books that where new and they where on sale it just depends? here in NC it coasts nothing the state just has to approve you! any other questions please feel free to email me!!!!

This is truly up to who is providing the homeschooling.They can make there own curriculum or they can purchase a full curriculum depends on the family.There are also different approaches on home schooling depending on the family.I homeschool 2 kids and love doing so.I feel comfortable purchasing a curriculum and it costs around $200.00 and on somethings like science I use all kind of resources that enlighten my kids and educate as well.Just search all kinds of things before you make a decision because if you decide to home school I feel that you should be devoted to doing it threw out and to a high standard.

It depends on what you buy. Some programs do cost $1000 or more for the entire year which is all-inclusive for all the books and texts and science materials and all that. Some people don't get that fancy and mainly use what they can find cheaply or they rely on the library.

Zero -- just sleep in til about 10 a.m., then play til 2 p.m., then head over to monopolize the public library computers (for games) and let your kids run rampant all over the place hollering - it's free to go to there.
