Does anyone have any thanksgiving craft ideas for kids?

Build a small Native- American village. Tee-pees can be made from 3 popsicle sticks wrapped with construction paper made into a cone shape. Decorate the paper with Native- American patterns. Build a camp- fire with small rocks and little sticks and twigs. Crumble up some orange and red autumn leaves to make them look like flames. I mean go wild! Find things that look like trees and bushes. Make wild- life out of clay or dough. Also, use the dough to make the terrain (hills, mountains, etc.). Make popsicle- stick puppets for the Native- Americans and Pilgrims. The food on the table can be pictures cut out of various media such as magazines or cookbooks. Or you can have the kids draw the food or use the clay or dough. All this has a cardboard base underneath. Color or paint some bodies of water. All this is simple to do and you can use stuff you already have or can find outdoors. Very inexpensive project. This project may take all day or even a few days. I think the kids will really get into it and stay with it for at least an hour. Well, that's my idea.... hope you like it and possibly use it.

Trace you're hand on a piece of paper, you're thumb is the head of the Turkey and the other fingers are the feathers! Draw a funny face on yours and you've got a Turkey! Take a Leaf, put it under a blank piece of paper and rub a crayon with no wrapping sideways all over the paper, and bam! you have a leaf tracing! Hope this helps!!
