Is This An Allergic reaction to Chocolate?

If one's allergic to chocolate ('cuz of the cocoa I think) will one have allergic reaction to white chocolate?

    I'm sure if your mom has a true allergy to chocolate, you probably know that cocoa a legume, similar to peanuts and soy, and her reaction is more likely from that legume than any inane ingredient in the candy. That said, I have no idea if there is cocoa in white chocolate, I also have heard that there is not, BUT I can't pretty much guarantee you that any place that deals with white chocolate, deals with other chocolates, and any white chocolate you fond is bound to have at the very least, trace amounts of cocoa. I would avoid is completely if I were you. If you really want to get her chocolates, you can try carob, it's a totally different bean that tastes pretty close. Or find a brand and call the company and ask about ingredients and potential cross contamination with cocoa beans.
