im trying to make an icon for AIM, and my computer has Corel Paint Shop Pro, but I'm not sure how to use it to make icons, can anyone tell me how??

Answer:
The main thing is to get the size right. Most Icons are only about 35 x 35 pixels. Once you have it sized, and drawn, simply SAVE AS a bmp but give it the extension .ico
