My top teeth are suddenly sensitive to hot and cold to the point that if I take in a big breath it hurts. What could cause this? I do not smoke, I brush and floss every day..... no ...show more

sounds like you need a root canal..alot of my patients that come into the office with hot and cold sensitivity usually need a root canal, make an appointment with your dentist for an x ray so you can be sure...and if it starts to hurt, even a little make an emergency appointment and they will bring you in that day and take an x ray...fell better:)
