  Cotton and linen clothing, no polyester. Bring whatever's comfortable and pretty. And if you know you're going to be doing a lot of walking, make sure to bring good shoes with arch support. Might not be as pretty as sandals, but your back, hips and knees will thank you in the long run. A light pashmina is also a good idea if you're going into churches, as bare shoulders are frowned upon. Also, if you're going into places of worship, don't have your skirt too short and don't wear anything that reveals your bellybutton.
