does every printer have a different usb cable, or is there a cable that will fit most, cus i want to buy a used printer and people dont include the cable and its driving me crazy ...show more

Every printer I have seen uses an AB cable. Even though stores charge up to $20 for them, they should not cost more than $4 delivered. If you can't find it for that price on ebay or whatever, email [email protected] . Normal one is the A-B cable. the ends should look like a flat rectangle and a 5-sided square.

Most printers now use an AB USB cable. One side has a square which you plug into the printer and the other has a normal USB end that's flat which you plug into your computer.
