Do you know of a good but cheap camcorder?

Does anyone know a really good HD camcorder with lots of great features?

I want to get my boyfriend a really good camcorder for Christmas, but it MUST have lots of storage space, HD, cool features..etc.. I am trying to not spend more then $700. ANY HELP ...show more

I bet he'd love a Canon HV30 HDV camcorder. I know I would at least... You can buy it on B&H's website for $625. It's a really good company that you can trust; plus it has the specs and reviews of the camera. It's a HD minidv camera which records on digital tape, so he'd have as much storage space as he wants (and he can capture his video to the computer also).
