Can you buy an adapter for computer speakers to work on a TV?

I have some very nice computer speakers I'd like to hook up to my t.v., is there some type of audio adapter you can buy? (S video) what is it called if so and where can I get it? ...show more

Computer speakers have 1/8" stereo plug. TV's that have outputs for speakers have RCA jacks. So you'd need something that is two RCA plugs on one end and a 1/8" stereo jack at the other end. The only catch? I don't know anyone that makes such an adapter. I had to make one up myself. You'll have to find a friend that is handy with electronics to make you one.

Best place would be to go to a RadioShack or small electronics store. You want a "RCA to mini-banana adapter". S-Video is just that... for video, not audio.
