Where should I install SSL - whole domain or on a subdomain?

I registered a domain from Go Daddy and I installed a WordPress on it. If I create a subdomain, could I install another WordPress under this subdomain? Could I install any other website or web page under this subdomain?

  • Answer:

As others have already noted, the answer is yes. In a way, there's no such thing as domains and sub-domians. All domains are sub-domains (or vice versa) with www more or less reserved for all domains / sites. There is also cookies, domains and browser security but that's another question for another day.

Yes, you can indeed. A subdomain is like this: http://subdomain.domain.com/ You can also install other websites in subfolders like this: http://www.domain.com/subfolder

Yes you can. You could even serve files to the subdomain from another host.
