COLLEGE REFUND CHECK?

First year in college. Recieved a refund check. What can I do with it. Am I suppose to use towards my next semester or is my money. I know I have to file for finanial aid again for ...show more

You can do anything you want with it. I bought a 42" HDTV. They won't come after you. You're supposed to spend it on education expenses, but they can't exactly track it.

Its your money you can use it toward anything that is school related. Say if you need a new lab top for school, need to purchase food, clothes, need a car for transportation, need to pay your light bill or rent. You can do whatever you want with it. But don't go around school telling people about it or they might get jealous. I have some back up money in my savings so this semester Im going to save my refund and use it toward extra credits this summer or to study abroad next spring.
