    You do not need to decide your major when you are applying to colleges. You do need to see if the college has a pre law program. You will meet with a college adviser, let them know what your plans are for the future and they will discuss with you your options of major if you plan on going into law school after getting your Bachelors. Many students have political science, business major, but there are several majors that will work for you if you plan on going into law school

Why law? You should check out some of my other answers and my thoughts on the field of law. If you are just entering college, you shouldn't have to declare a major. Most colleges set that deadline midway through, like after sophomore year.
