How many watts is this car stereo system?
-
2 KFC-W3012 subwoofers at 1200 watts a peice. 1 KAC-9105d class D mono block power amp at 1800 watts. So how many watts is this system considered???
-
Answer:
Your amp is rated at >900watts rms. (Probably around 1200w, max) Depending on the load of your amp (determined by wiring and speaker ohm) it may be less. You amps specs are: * 4 ohms: 500 watts x 1 chan. * 2 ohms: 900 watts x 1 chan. * 1 ohm: >900 watts x 1 chan. If your amp is under a 2ohm load, your subs are seeing ideally 450w each.
