What are the job opportunities for a computer engineer?

What all career opportunities exist in the IT industry in India, apart from coding or testing, for a Postgraduate in Computer Applications (MCA)?

I'm a Post-graduate in Computer Applications(MCA) and have been associated with quite a few freelance projects here in India. While working on these projects, I realized that I thoroughly enjoy Requirement Elicitation and Project Analysis rather than the Coding Phase. Now, I'm planning to settle down for a full time job but most of the opportunities that I see in the industry require me to be a Software Developer or a Test Engineer. Do I require any additional qualification/certification to work as a Consultant who could explore the fields of Requirement Elicitation or Project Analysis. Are there any IT companies in India that offer such opportunities or I am just expecting too much for a fresher? Feel free to suggest parallel approaches(if any). Thank you!
