  which area of london? it gets less expensive for rent the further out you are.check out the different zones - 1 is the central bit, then it goes out to 4,5,6 etc. decent internet and TV costs about £30 a month. for a monthly oyster card (for bus and tube travel all around london) see here http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tickets/faresandtickets/seasontickets/4805.aspx its less for kids and students have a look at findaproperty for rent. for a family of 4 allow at least £80 a week for groceries. bills/utility can sometimes depend on your area. check thames water, british gas, powergen etc, or go to a price comparison website.
