What is a Lawyer's career goal?

What area of law lets me not deal with or lie about criminals?I'm looking for a career change but hate lawyers?

    There aren't really many legal jobs right now, don't worry about it since you probably won't be a lawyer period. You can TRY getting into Real Estate, but that's pretty much dead right now. There's Wills, Trusts, Patent Prosecution, trademarks and bankruptcy among others. Again, good luck finding a damn job...

All you need to do is avoid criminal law.

Hahaha...I know a lot of law students and lawyers who hate other lawyers. they definitely have non-traditional interests because they don't want to work with other attorneys. Some have gone into (or plan to go into) business for themselves, and others are doing legal consulting for non-profits and think tanks.

Environmental Law. You can work for Fortune 500 companies such as walmart or exxon /

Go with the flow

Find a whole other field together. If you hate attorneys, you're going to hate law. Period. It is quite ignorant, in my opinion, to "hate" all attorneys. There are many good-hearted and good-nature attorneys that fight for civil rights, human rights and environmental causes. Just because they hold a law degree doesn't immediately make them bad people.
