I wanna go to job corps for a medical assistant does anybody know how good a job that is?

It varies at the workplace, some will start at minimum wage but will go up depending on your experience, another thing you can do is call your local job corps office and ask the person there, they should have the information for you while you go through the orientation for Job Corps, though right now all Job Corps is being halted cause of the budget, so they're not taking anyone in right now and the only people that can leave are graduates. from what I heard they'll take people again after july or so when they have the money to pay for peoples buses to and from job corps. Usually anything in the med field is usually good pay, least here in washington, always see job ads in worksource asking for ma's, cna's etc etc and its usually around 12-15 an hr depending on the position and where its at.
