What do you think is a better career: diagnostic cardiac sonographer or optometrist?

I'm deciding between the two. The dcs would take six years (including undergraduate work) and optometry would take 8 Thanks!!!

Well, I can't tell you what's best for YOU. Why not find someone from both occupations that you can shadow for a while?

depends on your preferences. stick to the pre reqs for now cuz you have years to decide. talk to your college counselor for more advice.

What are YOU most interested in? It's only better if you find joy in what you're doing. Money....well....I've known several people with money up the wazu and are MISERABLE. Find someone who are active in both fields and ask them about their careers...like a mentor or such. Good luck.
