  • Answer:

28 is really not that old to go back to go. I have had people in their 30s, 40s, and even 80s (not for nursing, though) in my classes. I am almost 26, and I've decided to go for nursing. I have completed many of the general requirements already (as I was a psych major) but still need 6 or 7 classes. I also need to be accepted into their program :) But, as you said, I think older students have a certain maturity and determination to them that allows them to be great students. You still have to study hard. You can definitely do it, if you have the passion and dedication to do so. Don't blow it off. You could be a nurse at 30-32, depending on the degree you pursue. You still have many, many, work years ahead of you.
