How do you make a blister painless?

How can I make my burn not get a blister?

    Lets go to the degree of the burn... at 3rd degree burn, blisters will never form because the whole skin, muscle up to the bone were all ready damaged... at 2nd degree burn, blisters will never form because the dermis part were all ready damage, commonly it is a wound.... at 1st degree burn, blisters can form, maybe mild or severe.... blisters are serous fluid, it it not dirty, it is very clean because it didnt react with the blood... now, first aid management for burn 1. dip your burn hand in a cold water with ice to rease the pain. 2. if blister forms, dont pop it... it will heal soon poping the blister may result to an infection. 3. prevent your burn from infection.. we got a lot of fa mngt for burn i will not tell it all... hahahahaha

Run it under cool water, if it doesn't blister up after the first 30 min, it most likely won't. Other than that cover it up with a sterile dressing and hope for the best! Good Luck!

I heard soaking in green tea is really helpful.

You should put ice or a cold rag on it. That is the only way I know of that you could not get a blister from a burn. Hopefully... I have tried it, and there was a small blister, but that is better than a HUGE one. Hope this helps. Feel better. -Paige
